Hello again, to any readers that may have missed our site activity. I’m happy to confirm that, after a (frankly sudden) break of two months, Crodur is up and going once more. Hooray!
It’s been a while! Abandoning this site (even if briefly) has gotten me a little bit discouraged, especially after having racked up over 10 different articles! If my calcs are correct, that should be around 2 hours worth of text for the average reading speed. It may not seem much, but it’s nice to see how little by little everything piles up.
In the meantime, I have made some major modifications to the display of the main page. Following some feedback I got a few months ago, I decided to get rid of the main page and change it with a list of my articles.
At first I felt a little bit against it, since I had grown attached to the former look, but I had to admit, it was a little bit counter-intuitive for new readers. As a matter of fact, over 95% of our visits were just to that specific page! Meaning the vast majority of the users that stumbled into the site left before reading anything at all. This new format brings the newer articles as soon as the site is accessed, which should make things easier to navigate. I hope this modification makes Crodur easier to take on!
There is not much more I have to say right now. We hope our content keeps being entertaining and rewarding to see for you, the readers, and that’s what we will try to accomplish. Thanks for sticking up with us!
